Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: June 16, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 16, 2026

These Child Safety Standards describe how Rendevuz ("Rendevuz," "we," "us," or "our") prevents, detects, and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"), including child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"). They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Rendevuz has a zero-tolerance policytoward CSAE, and we cooperate fully with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and with law enforcement.

Rendevuz is an adults-only platform. Every user must be at least 18 years old and complete identity and age verification before they can post activities, connect with others, or message anyone. Minors are not permitted to use Rendevuz under any circumstances.

1. Our Commitment

The safety of children is paramount. Rendevuz prohibits, and takes active measures to prevent, any use of our platform that sexually abuses, exploits, or otherwise endangers a child. This commitment applies to all parts of the service — profiles, photos, activity listings, and private messages — and to every interaction facilitated through Rendevuz.

We design, operate, and continuously improve Rendevuz with child safety in mind, and we align our practices with applicable child-safety laws and with the standards expected of platforms in the social and dating categories.

2. Adults-Only (18+) Service

Rendevuz is intended solely for adults. To create an account you must affirm that you are at least 18 years of age, and before you can post an activity, send a connection, or exchange messages you must complete our identity verification process, which compares a valid government-issued photo ID against a live selfie. This process is used to confirm both identity and that the user is an adult.

If we determine, or have a reasonable basis to suspect, that a user is under 18, we remove their access immediately and delete the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Rendevuz, please report it using the methods in Section 6 so we can act quickly.

3. What We Mean by CSAE and CSAM

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child (any person under the age of 18). This includes, for example, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, the production, solicitation, possession, or distribution of CSAM, the sexualization of a child, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child — including any attempt to use our platform to make contact with a child for a sexual or exploitative purpose.

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) means any visual depiction — including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery — involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, as well as any other content that sexualizes a minor.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Rendevuz and result in immediate, permanent removal:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM or any content that sexualizes a minor;
  • Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a child to facilitate sexual contact or exploitation, online or offline;
  • Sextortion — threatening to share intimate imagery of a child, or coercing a child into producing it;
  • Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child;
  • Using Rendevuz to identify, contact, or arrange to meet a child for any sexual or exploitative purpose;
  • Impersonating a minor, or misrepresenting your age to evade our adults-only requirement;
  • Promoting, normalizing, or providing instructions for any of the above.

Zero Tolerance

Any violation of these standards results in immediate and permanent account termination, preservation of the relevant evidence, a report to NCMEC's CyberTipline, and referral to law enforcement as required by law.

5. Prevention & Detection

  • Age & identity verification. Users must complete government-ID-plus-selfie verification before participating, which gates the platform to verified adults.
  • Automated content screening. Photos are screened for nudity and sexually explicit content before they can be uploaded, and messages are scanned for harmful content. Material that violates our policies is blocked.
  • Human review & moderation. Reports and flagged content are reviewed by our moderation team, which can remove content, suspend or ban accounts, and escalate to authorities.
  • Account removal. Accounts found to be operated by minors, or used for CSAE, are removed and the relevant identifiers are retained to help prevent re-registration where lawful.

6. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Rendevuz provides a reporting mechanism that users can access without leaving the app: every profile, activity, and conversation includes a "Report" option, and reports involving a child-safety concern are prioritized for urgent review. You can also contact our Trust & Safety team directly at any time:

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States, you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

7. Our Response & Reporting to Authorities

When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAE or CSAM in our app, we act promptly — in accordance with these standards and applicable law — to:

  • Remove the content and permanently terminate the responsible account(s);
  • Preserve the relevant content and account data as evidence, consistent with applicable law;
  • Report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline, and report to regional and national authorities as required;
  • Cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement investigating child exploitation.

8. Legal Compliance

Rendevuz complies with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates, and reports to the relevant regional and national authorities as those laws require. We review and update these standards as our service and the applicable legal landscape evolve.

9. Designated Point of Contact

Rendevuz designates its Trust & Safety team as the point of contact for child-safety matters, including questions about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance. The team is ready and able to respond to child-safety reports and to notifications from Google Play, and can be reached at support@rendevuz.com.
